Kind Koala Events are opportunities to unite our community, raise funds, and support our mission. Through fun and engaging experiences, we are able to generate resources that go directly toward providing essential products and care for those in need.

KOALA EVENTS

The Kind Koala Brooklyn Chapter spent the day volunteering at a local soup kitchen, helping prepare and serve meals for people in need. We are thankful to Trinity Lutheran Church for welcoming us and supporting our mission to give back to the community.

Recent support for the Kind Koala Malawi chapter has helped our chapter provide essential hygiene and school supplies to Njoka Primary School. With access to basic tools and healthcare, students can return to school with health, confidence, and dignity.

Upper Bucks County came together for a community car wash hosted at Faulkner, raising $410 to help fund essential hygiene products. The event brought neighbors together, created a fun community atmosphere, and contributed directly to supporting local families in need.

Our chapter hosted its first event, welcoming more than 16 children for two days of hands-on anatomy activities focused on the eyes and lungs. Kids explored the human body through fun, interactive projects, while families and team members came together to make the event a success

Our chapter recently visited Njoka Primary School in Kamaipanjira Village, Lilongwe District. Once serving over 1,200 students, enrollment has dropped to 889 due to challenges like poor hygiene affecting health and attendance.

Our first fundraiser raised $112 (16,000 ETB) for the Nehemiah Autism Center, and we’re just getting started. Join us this Friday and Saturday for a Book and Crafts Bazaar, food and drinks, games, and chats with special guests. All proceeds go directly to the center.

Kind Koala partnered with CBW Nonprofits to launch a Winter Clothing Drive. Koala Boxes at local businesses collected coats, scarves, gloves and more. Over 150 winter clothing items were donated, helping families stay warm when it mattered most.

Kind Koala’s Summer Essentials Drive collected 260+ shirts, 160+ shorts/pants, 260+ socks, 60+ sweatshirts, 710+ school supplies, and 1,000+ toys, along with sports gear, electronics, and games to support youth and families all season.

In September 2025, Kind Koala donated 240 tissue boxes to the teachers and staff of CB West High School. The initiative was a simple yet meaningful way to support educators in their daily work while also expressing gratitude for the dedication they bring to students and the community every day.

The Kind Koala Team met with the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic to donate 56,000 healthcare resources varying from Q-tips and dental pics to facial wipes and alcohol prep pads. The clinic helps to provide free medical and dental care for uninsured low-income families residing in Bucks County.

The Kind Koala Doylestown chapter hosted a successful Panera fundraiser on October 11th. Community members joined in-café, drive-thru, and online using code FUND4U, helping raise funds to support Kind Koala’s global initiatives.
